5 Myths About How To Reduce Cellulite

There are few things that men and women complain about more than cellulite.

Approximately 90% of women are victims of these lumpy, bumpy, unsightly dimples on their hips, arms, tummy, or thighs at some point in their lives, even if they’re otherwise fit and healthy!

Because cellulite appears to be a near ubiquitous worldwide problem, there are a LOT of myths about how to treat, minimize, or eliminate it.

MYTH #1: Exercise Cures Cellulite…

As a woman who began seeing signs of cellulite as early as 16 years old, despite being a gymnast and cross country runner, I can tell you that cellulite DOES afflict the athlete!

One thing I’ve done to reduce the appearance of cellulite is to focus less on long, slow jogging for exercise and more on strength training.  For instance, instead of running three miles, I prefer to do squats, yoga, or lunges with weights to focus on building muscles in my legs.

Cellulite is visible when the connective tissues under your skin become weak.  Muscles help to tighten your skin, making cellulite less visible.

MYTH #2: Cellulite Is Caused By Toxins…

I’m the first person to encourage you to filter your water, eliminate processed foods with chemicals, and drink toxin-destroying SlimTea.

But cellulite is caused by fat pushing through connective tissue under the skin, not by toxins.

The reason you have cellulite is because the connective tissues around your troubled areas are not keeping fat beneath them.

This CAN, however, be exacerbated by hormones, lack of muscle tone, being overweight, being dehydrated, and even by poor circulation.

While toxins may contribute to the above signs, toxins do not cause cellulite.

For a safe, effective way to rid your body of toxins and free radicals that cause premature signs of aging and acne, drink SlimTea!

MYTH #3:  Cardio Helps Reduce Cellulite

Keeping yourself in shape with lower body fat percentage CAN help reduce the appearance of cellulite.

But running for hours every week may not be the most effective way to get rid of cellulite.

Cellulite occurs when fat pushes through the connective tissues, or collagen structure, and creates a dimpled appearance.

Strength training can help torch fat that seems to fall off about as fast as a tortoise by doing straight aerobic workouts.

Plus, strength training can help you build more muscle than cardio, which helps diminish the wiggle appearance of cellulite.

MYTH #4:  Liposuction Is A Quick Way To Reduce Cellulite…

Put down your wallet!

Liposuction, a scary surgical procedure that ‘vacuums’ fat out of your problem areas, does NOT reduce the appearance of cellulite.

In fact, liposuction can make cellulite WORSE, because it can make fat distribution more uneven.

For a quick, relatively effective solution to reducing the appearance of cellulite temporarily, try massaging your skin for several minutes in the problem area.

This can help strengthen connective tissues.

As it goes, the ‘easy’ solution doesn’t seem to be the winning solution when it comes to cellulite reduction.

To see REAL results, maintain a healthy diet, challenging exercise regime, and drink SlimTea every day.

MYTH #5:  A Healthy Diet Keeps Cellulite At Bay…

If only this were true – many of us would barely struggle with cellulite!

But, alas, your diet does NOT determine whether or not you have cellulite.

However, keeping hydrated and eating a diet that is mostly plant-based can reduce inflammation throughout your body.

Drink water, eat lots of cucumbers, radishes, tomatoes and bell peppers, and you’ll help strengthen your body’s connective tissues.

You should also AVOID cigarette smoke.  It has been shown to reduce blood flow and WEAKEN collagen, allowing fat pockets to dimple underneath your skin.

We believe SlimTea is the BEST ways to get tons of hydration in your body, lose weight steadily, and give you natural energy.

Drink one cup or take one capsule every day before breakfast and lunch to help you tighten up your tummy, reduce body fat, and give you the energy to do that cellulite-reducing strength-training we’ve been talking about!

Plus, it removes free radicals from your body that can cause acne and wrinkles.
