10 Healthy Iced Tea Recipes For Weight Loss

SlimTea Kenyan Blend

SlimTea Organic Wuyi Tea
If you love iced tea, you “get it”.
In the U.S., big glasses of iced tea are served almost as much as water in many restaurants. Certain preparations, including “Sweet Tea” are practically religion in areas of the country.
Iced Tea isn’t just refreshing, but it can be one of the healthiest drinks on the planet.
Quality teas, like SlimTea, can help you burn fat, detoxify your body, and help reverse aging every time you drink it. In celebration of this delicious, refreshing, and healthy beverage, I’ve compiled my 10 favorite ways to enjoy Iced SlimTea.
(Because our SlimTea Organic and SlimTea Kenyan teas are very strong, I’ve included instructions to brew all three.)
1. Slimming Iced Chai
Makes 4 Servings
- 4 SlimTea Bags non-Organic bags or 1 SlimTea Kenyan or 1 SlimTea Organic bag
- 4 Cups Water
- 1/2 Cup Almond or Coconut Milk
- 1/2 Tsp Gluten-Free Vanilla
- Pinch of Cayenne
- 2 Tsp Raw Honey or 7 Drops of liquid Stevia
- Optional: pinch of dried ginger, cardamom, cloves, or nutmeg. You can use all of them, if you’d like!
Directions:
- Brew SlimTea
- Pour all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.
- Store in a mason jar with a BPA-Free Lid. I like to add cinnamon and nutmeg to the top of mine with some foamy milk. Mmmm….
2. Dr. Oz’s Fat-Blasting Cinnamon SlimTea
Makes 3 Servings
Dr. Oz has praised Slimming Oolong Tea for it’s catechin and caffeine combination that torches body fat and ignites your metabolism for hours after drinking it. Cinnamon also helps your body effectively process sugars.
Ingredients:
- 4 Cinnamon Sticks
- 12 Bags SlimTea, or 2 bags SlimTea Kenyan, or 2 bags Organic SlimTea
- 3 Cups Water
Directions:
- Bring water to a boil.
- Turn off the heat and steep the tea. Then let the cinnamon soak for 5 minutes.
- Pour tea in pitcher or mason jar with BPA free lid. Fill the rest of the container with water and let chill in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
3. Sweet Lychee SlimTea
Makes 6 Servings
Lychees are an incredibly healthful fruit that are found in China and Brazil. They’re soft, slightly chewy, and resemble the consistency of tapioca. They’re loaded with fiber, healthy flavonoids (the fat-burning antioxidant found in SlimTea), and Vitamins, including C and B. Lychee benefit skin, hair, and heart health. Drink Sweet Lychee SlimTea for dessert, or as a delicious drink your friends will beg you to share!
Ingredients:
- 6 Bags SlimTea, or 1-2 bags SlimTea Organic or 1-2 bags SlimTea Kenyan
- 15-30 Lychee Fruits, seeded and cut into quarters
- 6 Cups Water
Directions:
- Boil SlimTea
- Juice half your lychee fruits in juicer or blended until fine pulp. (If you don’t have a juicer, strain the blended lychees into a bowl and add to the SlimTea. You may need extra lychee fruit for this method.) Add lychee juice to tea and set aside in refrigerator.
- Freeze 5-10 lychees in the freezer to make ‘ice cubes’.
- Once frozen, add frozen lychees to tea. They take on a ‘tapioca’-like consistency that’s just delicious!

I never know how many tea bags to use. for ice tea. Your recipes call for different amounts. Since I like to make a pitcher of say , a quart or more, is there a set amount of tea bags for a set amt. of water? Thanks and look forward to your reply,
Hi Frank! Our tea bags are very strong – so you can use one tea bag per cup of water…. but some even use the bag twice for a second cup of tea because it still has yummy, floral flavor and it’s still packed with nutrients on that second 1/2 – 1 cup. If you’re like me, you can drink 10 cups of tea per day. I use a TON of ice in my tea so it waters it down, so to speak. The general rule is 1 cup of water per 1 bag of tea. But if you steep it for only 4 minutes, you can get 2 cups of tea from one bag, in my opinion. If you steep it longer – like 7 minutes – you’ll probably only get one strong cup of tea. When I make a pitcher, I use a mason jar and 4-6 tea bags steeped for 7 minutes. Because 1 bag only has one third the caffeine of coffee (17 mg), you can drink a lot of Slimming Tea and never feel the jitters. I hope this helps!!!
I would love it if these drink recipes can be emailed to me. Thanks so much!!
Hi Christine! I just emailed them to you! Enjoy!
Just did 😉
HAVING READ YOUR RECIPES I DONT KNOW HOW MUCH WATER TO USE. IS ITA CUP PER T-BAG? OR DOES IT SAY HOW MUCH WATER I ADD TO THESE RECIPES. THANK YOU. JEAN.
All fixed 😉
In reading the iced tea recipes, the directions say to brew the tea, but it does not include the water and how much too boil.
example: Slimming pear, ginger grapefruit, cucumber mint, and blueberry …..steep the tea in how much boiling water
And to cool the teas do you add ice and if so, how much. I have been drinking this tea for 2 years and still look like a balloon!!!!! But I am healthy!
Esther, I have just added the water to the recipes. 🙂 I was saying “Tea bags” amount but not adding that for every bag, I use one cup water. All better! I’m glad you’re healthy – and I doubt you look like a balloon! Have you tried our recipe book? Get it free here: http://www.wulongforlife.com/free-cookbook-giveaway/blue-cookbook-giveaway-page.html. I have another book I’m finishing right now that has dozens of really great studies on health & wellness that I hope you find valuable in your journey. Keep it up! ~ Stephanie
Hi Stephanie,
I love that you provided all of these great tea recipes! I can’t wait to try some of them!! What is the serving size for each one? If I just want to make one serving of something, how do I go about doing that? Thanks for your daily emails…I love reading them all!! 🙂 Have a wonderful day!
Thanks, Christina! I added servings sizes 😉 Thanks for keeping up with our emails – they’re a labor of love. <3
I would love an emailed copy of the iced tea recipies too if you don’t mind.
I’ll send them right away!
On their way, Debra!
Would you mind emailing the iced tea recipes to me, as well. Thanks!
Sending now, Tina!
In UK we don’t in general drink iced tea, so this is new to me, but I would like to give it a try. There are only 2 of us so would appreciate ingredient size for two people. Please could you also email me with the recipes.
Many thanks Stephanie,
Jacqui Stirrup
Hi Jacqui! It’s really refreshing – I’m sure you’ll love it. I like to put 2-3 SlimTea bags in a mason jar in the morning and then infuse it with lemon or cucumbers. It’s really refreshing all day. I’ll email you the recipes now! One serving is one cup of water. So in the recipes if you see 4 cups water, it’s 4 servings. 🙂
Keep in touch!
