Detoxifying Vegan Coleslaw


  • 2/3 Lb. Shredded Red or Green Cabbage
  • 1/3 Lb. Shredded carrots
  • 1/2 Cup Red Pepper, sliced thinly
  • 1/3 Cup Tahini
  • 1/3 Cup Maple Syrup – grade B is best
  • 1/3 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/3 Cup Organic Hemp Seeds (add more if you love them like I do!)
  • 1/ Red Onion, chopped
  • 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 Cup green apple, diced
  • 1 Tsp. Cracked Black Pepper
  • 1/2 Tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/4 Cup Pepitas


  1. Toast Pepitas in pan
  2. Add pepitas to tossed remaining ingredients and salt to taste
  3. Allow to refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
