How This Cancerous Chemical Was Discovered…
It was 1965. Chemist James Schlatter accidentally discovered a sweet-tasting chemical when researching anti-ulcer drugs. That’s when he discovered Aspartame, a chemcial composed of three dangerous ingredients: phenylalanine, aspartic acid, and methanol.
His associates at G.D. Searle spent the next 9 years working to have aspartame approved for carbonated beverages and dried goods.
The FDA, neuroscience researcher Dr. John Olney, and consumer attorney James Turner were able to ward off the use of aspartame for public consumption for another 10 years.
Dr. Olney even informed Searle in 1971 that aspartic acid caused mice to develop holes in their brains.
How This Dangerous Chemical Became Unleashed To An Innocent Public…
During the late 1970’s and early 1980’s, many key government figures and FDA members left their jobs to work in the aspartame industry.
The FDA Commissioner even became a highly-paid consultant for a PR firm that represented aspartame manufacturing.
By this time, it was 1985, and Monsanto had purchased G.D. Searle and formed The NutraSweet Company.
This and a myriad of other fishy activities has led many to believe that the FDA is under the total control of Monsanto to this day.
What Is Aspartame?
Aspartame is actually composed of three chemicals; aspartic acid (40% of aspartame), phenylalanine (50% of aspartame), and methanol (10% of aspartame).
A professor of neurosurgery at the Medical University of Mississippi, Dr. Blaylock, has published a book detailing over 500 scientific references about aspartic acid and glutamic acid – the chemicals that compose 99% of monosodium glutamate, or MSG.
In his book, Blaylock cites severe, chronic neurological disorders as the result of MSG and aspartic acid consumption in society.
Phenylalanine composes 50% of aspartame. Phenylalanine is an amino acid normally found in the brain. But for some who are unable to metabolize phenylalanine, the excess levels in the brain can be fatal. Even in people who are able to metabolize phenylalanine, ingesting aspartame, particularly alongside carbohydrates, can cause your brain to have too much phenylalanine.
Excessive levels of phenylalanine can cause depression and emotional disorders, as it causes your serotonin levels to decrease, causing you to need serotonin reuptake inhibitor drugs such as Prozac to control depression, mood swings, and even schizophrenia or seizures.
How Does Aspartame Harm You?
Aspartate and glutamate can allow too much calcium into the brain cells, effectively killing certain neurons.
This causes an influx of free radicals, which kills brain cells. Aspartate and glutamate are now referred to as excitotoxins, meaning they ‘excite’ cells so much that they die.
Why doesn’t the brain stop these toxins from entering your cells?
This is because your body’s Blood Brain Barrier, or “BBB,” either isn’t fully developed, or is damaged.
Moreover, the BBB doesn’t completely protect all areas of the brain, and may allow seepage of excess glutamate and aspartate toxins into your brain.

The final 10% of aspartame is methanol.
Methonal is also called wood alcohol, and it’s a deadly poison that has caused some to wind up blind, or even dead.
